May Long!

Wow, what a busy weekend! Went to a trade show with some fellow ItWorks! distributors in the city and had an awesome visit with my niece and nephew.

My niece is only 13 and decided to make us breakfast on Sunday morning. She made everyone french toast which was delicious!!! Then went to the movies with my niece, nephew, and my friends son to watch the new Angry Birds movie. They had a blast at the movie and afterwards playing video games since it was raining pretty hard.

Today was a great day as well, went to the local park and got a little exercise. The kids played in the splash park before we decided to wrap it up and go to the indoor pool where it was warmer. My niece and nephew crack me up haha, they are the typical brother and sister who are friends one minute and annoying each other the next. I can’t wait until the next time they can come for a visit!

And for my progress trying ItWorks! I’ve had a little bit of results. Not the results I should be having because I need to commit to the program and remember to wrap and take my thermofit (and eat healthy after wrapping, both times I wrapped I ate fast food the next day!). I’ve also missed quite a few bike rides because I was running late or it was pouring out. So far I’ve managed to gain 3 lbs (eating fast food and not exercising) and then lose 6. I’m so excited to have lost some of the weight, only 32 lbs to go!

Week One

First week of my change went well, I rode my bike to work a few times and tried the itworks body wraps. Wrap didn’t go too well because I ate fast food the next day, but hopefully if I keep them up I will have some results! Also started trying the thermofit, trying to take it every morning that I ride my bike to burn those extra calories!

I’m hoping that making the change of riding my bike to and from work a few days a week will do a lot to help me get to my goals. You wouldn’t think riding a bike for 10 minutes a day could be so tiring but it really was! Between going for a swim and riding my bike my quads were burning and sore for a few days.

I also need to find some tips on how to help my lung capacity. My asthma has gotten pretty bad over last five years which makes it hard to work out. Trying to push through and focus on breathing while riding my bike is going to be a challenge. Maybe in time I won’t feel so winded by the time I get to work!

Till next time 🙂
